First Purchases for 203 W. Monroe

We got three things this weekend for the house so far and will get three more tomorrow! Purchase #1:  Bedding for the guest bedroom. I saw a yellow and gray set that I really, really wanted at Kohl's... but it would've ended up being like around $300 total and that is not in our budget. So this 7 piece set from Bed Bath and Beyond was only $80 with my 20% off coupon. I will get a couple of yellow throw pillows and some yellow window panels, because I like the idea of a yellow and gray bedroom and Philip's black furniture will look really nice with it. Purchases #2 and #3: Downstairs half bath vanity and sink. We also got a mirror to match. (My dad has always had some sort of antique vehicle and we went to the Hot Rod Nationals in Columbus, Ohio a few times when I was growing up. Super fun vacation for a kid. I mean, it really was.) I also love that song because it's at the end of Love Actually and that part always makes me cry. The words are true and it just makes me think of how lucky I am to have a loving family and how my life wouldn't be as good without them. So it seemed perfectly appropriate. Philip and his mom danced to a song that I don't know or remember. :( Someone told me it was very heartfelt, though. Also I feel bad because I was talking to people the whole time and didn't get to watch them. But their pic
