Well, it is that time of year again. It is time to get a new planner. Was the importance of having a planner pounded into your head during junior high like it was for me? This was the first time that I remember being told about having an "assignment notebook" and how crucial it was to my success as a student. I didn't fully appreciate the planner until college and, especially, grad school. (I don't think I could've made it through grad school without one!) I am now a full-on planner fanatic. It's with me everywhere; it's out on my desk at work at all times. I consult it probably 8 times a day or more. Because of this, it's hugely important to have a super cute one... and the photo above is the one I've chosen and am now stuck with for the next 12 months. (Also, can I say how annoying it is to me that a 2013 planner goes from July 2012 through December 2013? When am I supposed to start using it? Is it supposed to run for the academic year or for ...
