Wedding Wednesday
Last Wednesday was the 4th of July, and then we went on a little vacay down to Six Flags and some caverns in Missouri this past weekend, and then I've had "homework" for work the past two nights, so I honestly haven't had the time to do much wedding stuff since last week. But here is the little news that I do have!
- Sash news: Done and done! The one from Amazon came and I liked it better than the one from ebay, so that's a wrap! (My dad liked the one from ebay better, but, sorry Pops!) I have only a bracelet to get and I know exactly which one it'll be--it's part of my late birthday present from Philip.
- I asked my friend, Sheila, to help do some logistical things at the ceremony. She'll be handing out programs and a few other minor things. I'm so grateful to have her help because I know she'll be good; she's an event coordinator for her job at UNLV!
- We ordered the suits for the guys from Men's Wearhouse. The guys are all going to purchase since a good tux (the stylish, modern, slim fit that we want) costs about $25 less than it will be to just buy one. Philip was able to try on the jacket and pants with the shoes he got for himself and his groomsmen. I wasn't sure how his suit would look with the shoes, but it all looks good and the colors go well together. Everything should be in within a few weeks and then we'll go back to have him fitted and to see what it looks like with ties and whatnot. I'm excited! He looked so cute and the guys are going to look sharp.
- We've firmed up the guest list in preparation for invitation address labels, which is what I'm working on this week!
- I created a little rehearsal/rehearsal dinner invitation, so that'll be fun to make. I really do like being crafty. :)
