Today's List (Day 10): On My Wishlist I think it's hard to put together a wishlist these days, because I want everything that I pin on Pinterest and pretty much everything on that website, in general! Also, like I've said before, the internet makes it difficult to choose since your options are endless and the range of prices is huge. Right now, though, I've been wanting new work clothing, a maxi skirt, new black ballet flats, and boots without heels in both black and brown. Need this whole outfit that was pinned on Pinterest Me Too black flat (Lawton style) Steve Madden (Bonanza style)

Today's List (Day 9): Favorite Websites and Blogs I'm not a big blog follower (other than following my friends' blogs), but I might be once I have time and a kitchen to properly cook in. I do have a few websites that I frequent quite often, though...
Today's List (Day 8): In My Bag Planner, coin purse, pill case (Tylenol, Pepto), Clinique compact, hand sanitizer, tampon, key to Turner's house (I'm housesitting starting Friday), Hobo International wallet, cell phone, mints, wipes for my glasses... all in a Hobo International purse that I love ! -------------------- I'm one step closer to having all of my dreams come true. It sounds so silly to say that, but I almost really do feel that way. I had my phone interview this morning for the advisor positions here at Heartland. I was sooooo nervous, but it went well, I think. Padriac, the Dean of Enrollment Services, told me afterwards that I did good, so that's a good sign. Candace Brownlee, the Director of Student Recruitment, came in and gave me a hug and said that she's excited for me. Candace and Amy have both said that I'm more well-suited and qualified to stay here in Advising anyhow. (Remember that I wasn't offered the position in Recrui...
Today's List (Day 7): Blog Goals Hmm... I'm not sure if I have any blog goals. I sometimes say that I'm going to write in it more or make it more interesting (part of the reason I'm doing this list thing), but really I blog just because it's fun for me and I know there are a few people who like to read up on what I'm doing. Other than that, I just do whatever. -------------------- Today is my golden birthday. The day started off as it should, with a thunderstorm at midnight. Philip and I sat on the porch and watched it roll in! I had lots of nice "happy birthday"s at work and the student workers made me cute little Disney-inspired and crayon-colored birthday signs for my office. Philip and I went to dinner at Fiesta and then just hung out at home. It was nice. I can't believe that I'm 27. I never thought that I would get old, but it's happening... slowly, it's happening. I had a hard time when I turned 25, but I was tol...
Yesterday's List (Day 6): Least Favorite Words These two words are too difficult for me to type out (or think about or say), but I'll give you a hint. They both start with the letter "c" and are alternative terms for our private parts. *shudders* Right off the top, I can't think of any others, but I'm sure some others exist for me!
Today's List (Day 5): Weekend Goals Weekend's halfway over, but... Sleep in Spend time with my boyfriend Celebrate me and my uncle's birthday with my family Maaaybe clean a little :P Not stress over my upcoming phone interview -------------------- I think I'm done shopping at the mall. For one, the clientele is becoming a little sketchy. Okay, maybe a little more than a little. I almost don't feel comfortable being there at times. The problem might also be that I'm just not feeling the current fashions; I couldn't find anything that I liked. I have a little disposable income right now and I wanted to buy some cute clothes, but I didn't see anything that I wanted! This is strange for me. Maybe I'm becoming more picky or maybe there is just nothing out right now or maybe my expectations are high since I can basically find anything and everything I want on the internet. It was a disappointing trip. (A good problem to have.)
Today's List (Day 4): Today's Playlist Well, I don't/can't really listen to music while I'm at work, but if I did it would be my Dario Marianelli Pandora station, which essentially plays songs from movie scores and I love love love it! (I'm on break right now, so I decided to start playing it and so far I've heard songs from The Hours and Edward Scissorhands . The best!) Other than that, tonight while I'm driving to Philip's, I'll be listening to the dubstep mix that he made for me. -------------------- I've had to laugh the past few days because I've had a few students that think they are the bomb diggity, as it were. The one yesterday had aspirations to go to an Ivy League university, which is great, but he was very condescending to me and I'm not sure why. Because I work at a community college? Well, sorry to break it to ya, buddy, but you're going to be attending one... for now, anyway! The student today place...
